David Cox, MD MSCAI FACC is a member of Cardiovascular Associates in Birmingham, AL and is the director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Brookwood Baptist Hospital. He also serves as director of Medical Quality for Cardiology. Currently, as the President of SCAI (Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions) he is actively engaged in speaking out for interventional cardiology. His background in clinical research as a significant enroller in numerous important trials such as Stent PAMI and CADILLAC continues as he actively takes call as a 'in the trenches, frontline' cardiologist.
