Steven J Yakubov, MD, FACC is recognized nationally as a leader in cardiovascular innovation and research. He has been involved in more than 100 clinical trials to pioneer the latest and most advanced treatment options for cardiovascular disease. Dr. Yakubov is the Medical Director of the OhioHealth Research Institute and currently the principal investigator on several therapeutic devices that may revolutionize how structural heart conditions are treated. As System Chief of the OhioHealth Advanced Structural Heart Disease program, he leads its multidisciplinary team of specialists representing cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, radiology, cardiovascular imaging and anesthesia. Together, this team collaborates in leading-edge clinical research trials and execute excellence in teaching and education; all aimed at advancing treatment of patients with advanced valvular and structural heart disease.
